SOMETIMES, WE’RE  GUILTY OF ASSUMING TOO MUCH, RIGHT? We recently realized that we’ve probably wrongly assumed that ALL of you—our valued patients—know Amanda as well as we do! That’s probably not the case.

So, We Asked Amanda A Few Questions

We asked her a few questions to help you get to know her a little better. Those questions are found below—along with her candid answers! Enjoy!

Where are you originally from?

“I’m a native Nevadan; born and raised right here in Reno, NV. I’ve always lived out in the suburbs or should I say boondocks; but it’s nice to have plenty of space for our dogs to go run.”

What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not at work?

“My favorite thing to do when I’m not at work would be to hang out with my friends and family. I’m a bit of a homebody; but I love learning new cooking recipes and going to the movies.”

What do you enjoy most about your job?

“I love working with the parents and patients throughout the OR (outpatient surgery) process. I get to know each family on a personal level, which makes it nice to also be there at the hospital on their child’s OR day. The kids get so excited to go through their goody bag and seeing the difference after their dental work is completed is amazing.”

What’s your biggest accomplishment (work-related or personal) since you’ve been working at Champagne Family Dentistry?

“My biggest accomplishment was becoming a team member here at Champagne Family Dentistry. It is really “Our family taking care of yours.” My family has been coming here for 30+ years and I understand why. I’m so proud to be a part of this team; and it isn’t work because I love what I do.”

Do you have an interesting or unusual hobby?

“My current hobby would be my fascination with team snoopy themed baby items. I’m expecting my first child in mid-November and we are doing a snoopy sports theme for our baby boy; whom we are hoping will be a future sports star. I’m so excited to become a mom!!!”

How long have you been at CFD?

“Next month is my one year anniversary here at CFD. I’m looking forward to my career here at CFD and growing with the practice.”

We hope you’ve enjoyed getting to know Amanda a little better. Here at our practice we feel really fortunate to have her as a member of our awesome team.
