BIG Backyard. Little Confinement.
Someone once told me “All roads lead back to Reno.” I was born and raised in Northern Nevada with the majority of my childhood memories including the ski program at Diamond Peak and summers spent on the Truckee River. I moved away to attend college in Oregon and then moved to San Francisco for several years, before attending dental school at UNLV. Not sure if I wanted to specialize after graduation, I decided to complete an extended one-year general practice residency program at the Portland, Oregon VA. Although it was nice being back in Oregon and enjoying the great outdoors, it still wasn’t “home.” I decided to head back to my roots and return to Reno where I would be closer to my family and eventually meet my fiancé, Michael. Since moving back, I’ve realized how fortunate we are to have everything in our backyard…. Skiing at Tahoe, fly-fishing on the Truckee, and only hours from amazing wine country and the Bay Area (his home). I couldn’t imagine living, working, or raising a family in any other community.
