We are so excited to share Dr. Drew’s story on why he loves raising his family in the #BiggestLittleCity!

Big Family. Little City.

Reno has always been home to me and I take a lot of pride in the fact that I am a 5th generation Nevadan. It’s a blessing to be able to say that my Dad was born at Saint Mary’s Hospital, I was born at Saint Mary’s Hospital, and both of my kids were born at Saint Mary’s Hospital. My wife, who is a Washoe County School District teacher, moved here when she was three and we hope to pass our love for this community onto our children. For me, success would mean staying in Reno, raising our kids here, retiring here, and growing old here. Growing up, I watched my Mom, who was a music teacher for Washoe County, change the lives of many elementary school kids with her innate music talent. As a result, I started playing music around 2nd grade  and have many fond memories of a community that was tailored to family values and supporting those within educational systems.
