TYPICALLY, IT’S THE FIRST SMILING FACE that greets you when you visit us! For those of you who have met and visited with Carissa, you already know how awesome she is. Her personality and excellent communication skills are a huge part of the service we provide.

Carissa is originally from Las Vegas, and came to Reno in 2002. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UNR and is currently working towards her MBA. She has traveled to 22 different countries. And she loves the color pink and baking cupcakes!

We recently put Carissa in the hot seat and asked her some questions so you can get to know her better…

When you have a day off work, what are your favorite things to do?

My favorite things to do are snowboarding, playing with my puppy, shopping and trying out new restaurants.

When you first started at Champagne Family Dentistry, what were your first impressions of the office and the team? Have those impressions changed?

Everyone was very warm and inviting and my love for them all has grown and grown!

Can you share a story about a patient interaction which has stuck out to you?

We had a patient recently who found out shortly after he completed his treatment with us, that he was dying from cancer. The front desk team bought him flowers and brought them down to the hospital. The patient and his family were so touched. I will never forget that moment or the loving care and compassion that our team showed him in his time of need.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

I love working with a team of employees that all truly love their jobs. The team here at CFD is just wonderful. Everyone is completely devoted to delivering the best patient care and customer service possible and it puts a smile on my face everyday!

We’re So Glad To Have Carissa As A Member Of Our Team!
