WE RECENTLY REALIZED that we’ve probably wrongly assumed that ALL you know Lyndsay as well as we do! That’s probably not the case.

So, We Asked Lyndsay A Few Fun Questions

So, we asked Lyndsay a few questions to help you get to know her a little better. Those questions are found below—along with her answers. We hope you enjoy them!

Where are you originally from?

“I was born in California but was raised in Reno. I consider Reno my hometown. I love it here. Everywhere you go, you see someone you know.”

What made you decide that you wanted to become a dental assistant?

“I knew I always wanted to do something in the medical field. My dental hygienist convinced me that dentistry is the way to go. She was definitely correct. I love it!”

What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not at work?

“When I am not at work I love spending time with my puppy, Jeri. She is my little baby!”

What do you enjoy most about being a pediatric dental assistant?

“I enjoy all aspects of my job. I love educating my patients and parents. Working with children is very rewarding. They are the purest of people and always put a smile on my face.”

When you started as a dental assistant, was there something funny that happened? Do you dare tell us that story?:

“The first time I did sealants I was very anxious and nervous. When grabbing the suction I accidentally sucked up my patient’s hair. I pulled the suction away as quickly as I could. My poor patient, her eyes were popping out of her head. I was so embarrassed, I wanted to cry. Learning how to assist is a process, sometimes you learn from your mistakes. At least I can say that only happened once!”

We hope this has helped you get to know Lyndsay a little better. We feel privileged to have her as an awesome team member here in our practice.
